Nikolsky parish was formed in situ Svyatolutskogo Nicholas Monastery. Reverend Dionysius Glushitsky and Pachomius Velikoozersky came on the eastern side of the lake Kubensky Spasokamennogo monastery and first built a wooden church of St. Nicholas. He painted the temple monk Dionysius Glushitsky subsequently left the monastery and form a new desert on the river Gluszyca.

Pachomius Velikoozersky stayed in St. Luke. In 1630, in the desert ascribed Svyatolutskoy were two wooden churches: Mykolaiv cold and warm with a meal, consecrated in honor of the Presentation of the Lord. Church of St. Nicholas in St. Luke, in the birthplace of Spasokamennogo on Lake Kubenskoye Monastery, in the Vologda district, was mentioned in the tax books for 1618.

Then it was built a stone church of St. Nicholas – the parish Svyatolutskaya Nicholas Church, stone, two-storey, with 4 altars. The lower church is arranged in 1786, the upper – in 1790 sanctified throne in honor of St. Nicholas – the main, Presentation of the Lord, the Mother of God “of Kazan”, Catherine of Alexandria. Updated pridelnyh church of St. Nicholas of Myra was consecrated 4 November 1879 under a bushel the relics of St. Pachomius Velikoozerskogo.

Location of the Church: to 1859 – Nicholas churchyard Svyatolutsky, in the 1st district of the Vologda camp by the river Sukhona. By the time it was attributed to five hours: in the village of Bolshaya Verkhotina, Small Linyakovo, Kapustin, Kalinovo, Cher.

In the 20-30 years of XX century, with the establishment of Soviet power, members of the local party cell brutally destroyed the temple. They hammered the windows sleepers, and then set fire to them. Ties burned slowly, the church was heated and eventually collapsed. Brick was scattered on the roads for filling wet places formed more impassable swamp. The iconostasis was burned near the village of Sergeyevka. Local parishioners under threat of life were able to save some of the furniture of the church to save a few icons. Alexandra Patralova saved hewn from rough stone cross that once swam against the current to the church and was put in the temple on a wooden pedestal under glass. Brave woman hid it in the back of the house buried in the ground, littered with hay. Currently, the cross handed to the village of Arkhangelsk in the Church of the Holy Spirit in which it has manifested the face of Jesus Christ.

Today, from the ruined church of St. Nicholas was saved only hill. Next to him – Svyatolutsky Nicholas churchyard are buried and are still buried locals.

Here lies St. Pachomius Velikoozersky, Svyatolutskogo Nicholas Monastery monks, priests who served in the St. Nicholas Church, the congregation, teachers Priluksky church-parochial school teachers and primary eight-year schools.
